ABOUT ME

I am Lisa, the mind behind Ginkgo Studio, established in 2018 in Luxembourg.

I have been practicing yoga since 2016 in all its beautiful layers,

after my dear friend Nathalie introduced me to my very first yoga class in Berlin. 

After getting back to my hometown, I started tattooing, kind of as a creative outlet, because at the beginning I did not feel that I belonged here. It took some time to find my own style, right now I love creating fine and light designs incorporating ornamental, symetrical shapes and patterns gained mostly through my observations of nature. Creating art is meditation for me, I no longer follow any thought fluctuation, I just put a dot next to another dot. Or like Yayoi Kusama described her own process of working, being in complete obliteration, becoming one with the universe. Melting in between time and matter.
